Women and Pastoralist Youth Development Organization (Wa-PYDO) is a local NGO with its Head Office in Dollo Ado, Somali Region. Wa-PYDO is currently implementing the IFTIN – Climate-Proofing Food Security Project, supported by WFP/KfW, to strengthen agricultural production, food security, and climate-resilient livelihoods among targeted communities.

As part of the project’s agricultural mechanization support, Wa-PYDO intends to procure one brand-new Farm Tractor with 110–130 HP and one compatible Ploughing Disc having 5-6 discs.

Wa-PYDO therefore invites eligible, qualified, and experienced distributors/suppliers to submit sealed bids for the supply and delivery of the Farm Tractor and 5-6-Disc Plough.

Eligible suppliers may collect the RFP/Bidding Document and detailed technical specifications from the Wa-PYDO Procurement Unit at the address below upon presentation of valid and renewed business credentials during working hours, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and 2:00 PM–4:00 PM, starting from 2nd Sept 2026. On Fridays, the office closes at 2:00 PM.

Bidders shall submit the original and copy of their bids in separate sealed and stamped envelopes clearly marked “ORIGINAL” and “COPY”, with the Technical and Financial Proposals submitted separately.

The bid shall include copies of valid Trade License, Business Registration Certificate, TIN Certificate, VAT Registration Certificate, professional competency/authorization documents, and other requirements specified in the bidding document.

All Technical and Financial Proposals must be deposited in the designated bid box at the above address on or before 21th Sept 2026 at 5pm.

Bidders are required to submit a Bid Bond equivalent to 1% of the total quoted price including VAT, in a separate sealed envelope, in the form of CPO or unconditional Bank Guarantee, issued in the name of “Wa-PYDO.”

The submitted bids will be opened and evaluated by the Wa-PYDO Procurement Committee, and bidders will be informed of the outcome in accordance with Wa-PYDO procurement procedures.

Wa-PYDO reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, without assigning any reason.
