The Ethiopian Red Cross Society Benishangul Gumuz regional Office invites bids for three lots of construction work.

The Ethiopian Red Cross Society Benishangul Gumuz regional Office invites eligible and qualified contractors of category of water works contractors, Building contractor or general contractors of category 5 and above with valid trade license, registration certificate, Suppliers registration certificate, Tax clearance certificate, VAT registration certificate, Tax payer registration certificate, and eligible for the work. Major parts of the work are water points construction with pipe installation, additional block construction in ealth Center, VIP latrines and MHM room construction in school providing the necessary labor, materials and equipment. The total number of sites are 3, and allocated into one bid and 3 lots. The bidder may submit a Bid for all 3 lots, several lots, or one lot only.

1. Interested eligible bidders can purchase a complete set of bidding document paying a non-refundable ETB 400 (Four Hundred Birr) from ERCS Benishangul Gumuz regional branch Office.

2. All tenders must be submitted to Ethiopian Red Cross Society Benishangul Gumuz regional branch office along with a BID SECURITY (BID BOND) in acceptable Forms (CPO ONLY) SPECIFIED IN THE BIDDING DATA SHEET amounting to 2% of the bid offer (Grand Total Including VAT), on separate envelope. The CPO should be valid for 28 days after bid validity.

3. Financial offer shall be produced in separate envelopes labelled as ORIGINAL and COPY. TECHNICAL OFFER shall be made in a separate third wax sealed envelope clearly labelled as TECHNICAL OFFER. The three envelopes shall then be sealed, signed and stamped inside a sealed, signed and stamped outer envelope, addressed to Ethiopian Red Cross Society whose address is mentioned below.

4. Bid will be closed on September 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM, and technical document will be opened on the same day at 2:30 pm in the presence of those bidders or their authorized representatives who are willing to attend the event at ERCS Benishangul Gumuz regional branch Office.

5. Bidders are advised to read the bidding document thoroughly in order to fill all the necessary details requested in the bid document.

6. Bidders Coming from Outside Benishangul Gumuz Region Must Obtain a Temporary registration/Trade license recognition from the relevant regional Sector authority prior to or upon bid submission.

7. Failure to comply with the conditions from no.2 to 6 above shall result in an automatic rejection.

8. Ethiopian Red Cross Society Benishangul Gumuz regional bracnh office reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without fixing any reason thereof.

9. The winning bidder must issue and submit an official sales receipt equipped with a QR Code or generated from a certified Cash Register Machine (CRM) for all payments
