1. Summary and Background Resolve to Save Lives (RTSL) is a U.S.-based non-profit organization dedicated to preventing deaths from cardiovascular disease and epidemics globally. In Ethiopia, RTSL collaborates with the Ethiopian Public Health Institute and the Federal Ministry of Health. RTSL invites qualified and experienced IT service providers to submit technical and financial proposals for ongoing Information Technology support services.
2. Scope of Work & Key Responsibilities The selected service provider will deliver remote and on-premise IT support for RTSL staff in Addis Ababa, averaging 3–5 hours per week. Primary duties include:
- Scheduled On-Site Support: Every Thursday morning from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM EAT at the Addis Ababa office.
- Ad-Hoc Support: On-call in-person or virtual support for urgent issues and staff onboarding/offboarding.
- Hardware & Software Support: Maintenance of workstations, servers, network infrastructure, AV systems for video conferencing, and telephony systems logged via RTSL’s IT ticketing platform.
- Workstation Deployment & Security: Setting up local profiles, security settings, software, hardware updates, remote management, antivirus, and compliant data destruction/recycling.
- IT Asset Management: Life cycle management and inventory documentation.
3. Contract Duration The initial contract term is one (1) year, with the possibility of a one-year extension.
4. Mandatory Requirements Bidders must submit copies of the following legal documents:
- Valid and renewed Business License in Ethiopia for the fiscal year 2019 EC.
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) Certificate.
- VAT Registration Certificate.
