It is to be remembered that Ethio telecom has launched National competitive bid NCB for the procurement of Fiber Optic Splice Protection Sleeve, 12V/5V CONVERTER CABLE, and FIBER CLEAVER AND OPTICAL FIBER CLEAVER BLADE with RFQ 4286950 4286948, 4286952. The bid is under floating starting from August 27, 2026, and was to be closed on September 21, 2026.

In connection with this, ethio telecom has received bid closing date extension to due to clarification response and new year holiday to have sufficient time for bid preparation and submission. Accordingly, ethio telecom decided to extend the bid closing date by 10 days to give sufficient time for bid preparation and submission of responsive bid offer. Hence, the bid closing & opening extension as summarized in the tables below:
