Terms and Conditions

Our office , Ministry of National Defense, Logistics Main Department of the Procurement Unit has issued an EGP Open Tender for the procurement of various vehicle batteries. Accordingly, companies participating in the tender are required to fulfill the following requirements for the various vehicle batteries for which they are bidding: 1. Successful bidders shall deliver the items awarded to them using their own transportation to the Adama Warehouse. 2. Bidders shall submit the original catalogues and samples of the various vehicle batteries for which they are bidding to the Melka Kality facility one day prior to the opening of the tender. 3. Bidders shall provide a Certificate of Authentication confirming the authenticity of the original catalogues and certifying that they are issued by the battery manufacturer or its legally authorized representative in Ethiopia. 4. The Bid Security Guarantee (CPO) shall be scanned and attached to the tender documents through the EGP system. 5. Bidders shall complete and submit the specifications of the items for which they are bidding through the EGP system in accordance with the stated specifications. 6. Any bidder who submits a fraudulent or invalid bid security shall be disqualified from the tender competition and shall also be held legally liable for fraud in accordance with the law. 7. Any bidder who places any mark, label, or other identifying indication of the company on items submitted as samples shall be disqualified from the tender competition. 8. Any successful bidder shall be obligated to deliver the awarded items within the period specified in the contract from the date of signing the contract. 9. If a bidder fails to share the K-code on time when the tender is opened, our institution shall not be responsible for any problems that may arise thereafter. 10. Our office has the right to cancel the tender in whole or in part
