8

It is mentioned that all the documents need to be translated if the language is other than English why?

As the working language for UNICEF is English and to provide the same document for the technical evaluation committee members who might be from different backgrounds, it should be standardized with the same UNICEF working language.

9

Is advance payment allowed

UNICEF’s procedure prohibits advance payments to mitigate associated risks. Yet, our payment schedules are lump-sum based, releasing a specific amount upon achieving key deliverable milestones and demonstrating successful performance. This allows contractors to maintain cash flow.

10

BoQ lines in which the columns are narrow and not visibly seen:

Please note that the BoQ is protected; therefore, adjusting the page layout may not be possible. As a result, some larger values may not be fully visible. However, the contractor is only required to enter the unit rates. All calculations, including item totals, summaries, and the grand summary, will be generated automatically, as all sheets are linked to one another.

11

Payment schedule and distribution

Contracts will be awarded to vendors with the best offers having payment schedules that are aligned with agreed payment deliverables. Payments will be done upon satisfactory completion agreed milestones.

12

Variation
