1. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES Vehicle rental services on a need basis across the country. Safaricom Ethiopia has issued this Expression of Interest (EOI) to identify potential vehicle rental service providers. Interested and capable suppliers will be expected to offer all shift vehicle rental services to Safaricom Ethiopia staff across the country, as demanded and per the agreed SLA. This EOI is intended to lead to the identification of suppliers that can demon strate sufficient capacity to provide these services in the best possible way and in a manner that enables Safaricom Ethiopia to meet its expectations. 2.EOI REQUIREMENTS Safaricom Ethiopia is therefore soliciting interested and capable vehicle rental service providers that may submit their Expression of Interest by providing the information and documents listed below:
- The supplier should have proven capability and experience to ensure nationwide readiness across all cites and operational location.
- The supplier should have a valid business license.
- Company Profile, Business License, Business Registration, TIN Certificate, and Memorandum of Association.
- Years of experience as a vehicle rental service provider. The minimum requirement is two (2) years.
- Confirmation of financial capacity of the company — Audited Statement of Accounts and/or bank statement.
- Evidence of tracking and status updates — provide 24/7 access to information on the location of hired vehicles.
- Who can comply to our safety standards of road worthy vehicles with installed GPS and Defensive Driving Trained drivers

4. SUBMISSION OF RESPONSES
Interested suppliers should submit their response, comprising the documents listed above and the signed Statement of Compliance, to the following email address:

9. Issuing date will be the date which this post will be released in all medias.
10. Closing date will be after 14 calendar days from the date of posting.
5. NEXT STEPS
Once the responses are received, the further process will follow the steps below:
- Review of submitted Expressions of Interest and qualification of shortlisted suppliers.
- Supplier onboarding and qualification.
- Issuing tender to prequalified suppliers.
6. IMPORTANT NOTES
- Only suppliers who meet our minimum requirements will be considered for further discussions.
- No prices should be provided with this EOI.
- The receipt of a response shall not bind Safaricom Ethiopia to any contractual agreement. Such arrangements shall only come into place once an award has been issued to a successful bidder after a tender process.
- Any costs associated with the preparation and submission of the response to the EOI shall be borne by the EOI respondent.
