Sidama Industrial Parks Development Corporation is inviting qualified contractors for two construction projects in Yirgalem IAIP: 1) Phase-2 Containerized Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) and 2) Guard Houses and Drainage.

RE-BID INVITATION OF BIDFOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THREE PROJECTS

Sidama Industrial Parks Development Corporation invites qualified and competent Contractors for the construction of the following Projects in Yirgalem IAIP.

1. Interested bidders shall submit the following evidence:

1. Certificate of registration from Ministry of Urban Development and Construction, FDRE or Bureau of Urban Development and Construction of the Sidama National Regional State with Categories that are listed in the table above for the construction of abovementioned projects which are valid for current budget year and other appropriate documentary evidences that demonstrates the bidder's compliance, which shall include:
2. Business License Valid for this year
3. Commercial Registration Certificate
4. Construction Competency Certificate from the Ministry of Urban Development and Construction valid for this fiscal year
5. VAT Registration Certificate
6. Taxpayer Registration certificate
7. Permission certificate for bidding from legal authorities valid at least at the date of bid submission
8. Evidence of /Being/ registered under supplier list from the public procurement and property Administration Agency (PPPAA), FDRE.

2. Bidders shall submit three envelopes, "Qualification information" (one Original sealed separately and each three copies sealed separately, then finally sealed with one outer envelope), "Bid Security" and "Financial Bid" (one Original sealed separately and each two copies sealed separately, then finally sealed with one outer envelope) and finally three envelopes should be sealed in one an outer envelope.

3. Evaluation is to be carried out in two stages, Technical Qualification information first and Financial Bids of qualified bidders at the second.

4. The Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application and copies of necessary renewed licences with originals the Sidama Industrial Parks Development Corporation corporate service Room number 005, Hawassa and the bidding document at the address given below during working hours(Morning from 8:30 up to 12:30am Afternoon from 1:30 up to 5:30pm).

5. A complete set of bidding documents prepared in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 1,000 (One Thousands birr) for each, during working hours of 21 successive calendar days starting from the first date of notification of this advertisement on Ethiopian Herald. The final submission date and opening of proposal will be on the 21st date of this announcement on the Ethiopian herald at 12:30PM& 2:00PM respectively. If the 21st date is not a working day it will be on the next working days at the same time.

6. Bids must be delivered to the below address on or before 12:30p.m. of the above said date late bids will be rejected.

7. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB

• 1,000,000 (One Million Birr)for Yirgalem Phase 2 containerized WWTP Project
• 500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand birr only) for Yirgalem Guard House and Drainage Project

8. Bidders must submit their performance records for on-going or completed projects, particularly for those bidders who contracted any construction projects with the Sidama IPDC.

9. No bidder shall submit a proposal for more than one project.

10. Sidama Industrial Parks Development Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject part or all of the bidding process.
