The Somali Regional State Jigjiga City Administration invites qualified bidders for the construction of seven classrooms across three schools: Ayer Dage School (2 blocks), Hormud School (2 blocks), and Wanow Primary School (3 blocks).

Invitation to Bid

Somali Regional State Jigjiga City Administration now invites qualified bidders from eligible and interested bidders through NCB for construction of seven classrooms of the following projects:-

1. Construction of 7 new Classrooms, Project Procurement reference number:- JCA/SUIDAC/005/2026 G.C

• Construction of 2 Blocks (Ayer Dage School that accommodates members).
• Construction of 2 Blocks (Hormud School that accommodates members).
• Construction of 3 Blocks (Wanow Primary School that accommodates members).

2. The tender will be remaining floating for 30 days starting from the date advertised on the Ethiopian herald.

3. Jigjiga City Administration invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of 7 Classrooms of above according description to be completed within 90 calendars days

4. Bill will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders who are VAT registered at the same time renewed license for 2019 EFY.

5. A complete set of biding document prepared in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the bidders below and upon payment of none refundable fee of birr 1000 (one thousand birr only) of payment will be in cash. During working hours (8:30am -12:00 am) in the morning and 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm in the afternoon)

6. Bidders should submit separate technical and financial proposal enclosed in a wax sealed envelope clearly marked the project title and must be delivered to the address below on the 30th day for procurement of the different tips of works according to the above description to be completed on 12:00PM of that day.

7. All bidders must be accompanied with bid security 2% of the project cost before VAT in a certified check form or (CPO) issued by a recognized Bank.

8. The bid opening ceremony will take place at jigjiga city administration Office of finance and Economic Development, procurement Department Room No 2 on the same date (on the 30th day of this bid) at 2:00PM. Late bids will be rejected. Qualification information and bid security of the bidders will be opened in the presence of bidders/ legal representative who choose to attend at the adders above on the final bid submission date and time for lots as stated above.

NB:- If the bid opening ceremony date is not working day, the bid opening date will be next working day

9. Jigjiga City Administration reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bid

10. Bidders may obtain further information and documents may be inspected from The Address Below During Office Hours, 2:30 A.M- 12:30 AM And 2:00 PM -5:30 PM From Monday to Thursday and On Friday from 2:30 A.M-11:00 AM And 2:00 P.M.-5: 30P.M
