LM International (Lakarmissionen) Ethiopia invites qualified and experienced manufacturers or authorized suppliers to submit sealed bids for the supply and delivery of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE, 3" and 2") pressure pipes to be used for borehole water supply system construction works in Borena Zone, Oromia Regional State.

1. Delivery and Transportation Cost

• Transportation cost shall be separately included in the financial proposal
• Delivery shall be made from the factory/supplier warehouse to Borena Zone project locations as communicated by LM International Ethiopia
• No additional transportation cost shall be entertained after contract award

2. Product Details

• Product: HDPE Pressure Pipes (PE100)
• Material: Black bimodal high-density polyethylene (PE100, MRS 10.0)
• Application: Borehole drilling and water supply works
• Indicative Material Specification: BorSafeTM HE3490-LS or equivalent, suitable for drinking water pressure pipe systems, with high resistance to rapid crack propagation and slow crack growth

Exact sizes, pressure classes (PN), and quantities shall be defined in the bid document.

3. Bid Requirements (Eligibility Criteria)

Bidders must provide evidence of:

• Proven experience in manufacturing or supplying HDPE pressure pipes for more than five years
• Proven evidence of high financial capacity
• Experience supplying pipes for water supply or borehole drilling projects such as INGOs, NGOs and firms
• Valid business license and registration
• Compliance with ISO 4427 and drinking-water pipe regulations
• Financial and production capacity to supply the required quantities

4. Bid Documents Must Include

• Company profile, including technical capacity
• Detailed technical specifications and manufacturer data sheets
• Declared physical and mechanical properties of HDPE pipes
• Delivery schedule
• Financial proposal (in ETB), including separate transportation cost
• Relevant certifications, test reports, and compliance statements

5. Bid Document Collection
