1. Gojjam Development S.C has invited wax sealed bids comprising of Technical & Financial Proposal from eligible Bidders for providing all the necessary labor, material & equipment for the construction and completion of Construction of Gojjam Development S.C B+G+12 at Bahir Dar Town in Amhara Region. Mixed-Use Building from Footing Pad up to 3rd Floor Slab Project,

Upon payment of non-refundable Birr 1,200.00 (One Thousand  Two Hundred) to whom all inquiries and Correspondences should be addressed.

Each bid must be accompanied by an acceptable bid bond, at the Bidder's option, in any of the following forms:- An unconditional Bank Guarantee, an irrevocable Letter of Credit and Cash, check certified by a reputable bank or financial institution, or payable order in the sum equal to amount 500,000.00 including VAT, which shall remain in forces for 90 calendar days from the bid opening date and shall be in separate envelope. The successful bidder will be required to furnish within 15 days from signature. a performance bond in the sum of 10% or 25% of the gross bid sum the

5. The construction of works shall be completed within a maximum of 730 Calendar Days from the commencement of works.

6. All bids must be submitted based on the free market price.

8. Applicants who do not score a minimum of 70% of technical qualification criteria allocated 100% points will be considered as not pre-qualified and their price (financial) bid document will be returned to the applicant without opening it. 9. Sealed technical financial documents shall be submitted to Gojjam Development S.C, on or before 21 calendar days from the first date of advertisement at 2:00 PM hours and shall be publicly opened at 21st calendar day starting from first advertisement date at 2:30 PM. If the opening date lies on a non-working day, it will be shifted to the next working day in Gojjam Development S.C, when the name of bidders attend the opening of bids. and the amount of their bids will be declared. 11. All bidders have to conduct site visit before submitting a bid. The client will not accept any claim in relation to the site and related issues.

12. The bidder must provide a legal confirmation letter by his own firm by compiling it with the legal document for creating job opportunity, as per directive from the total contract, in the form of any sub contract material supply or any other ways based on “በጥቃቅንና ስነስተኛ ኢንተርፕራይዞች ለተደራጁ ወጣቶች የስራ ዕድል አማራጮችን ለማስፋትና ለማበረታታት የተዘጋጀ መመሪያ ቁጥር 27/2009 ዓ.ም. otherwise the bidder will be rejected.

13. Bidders must present certificate of VAT registration.

14. Bidders must provide certificate of satisfactory execution of previous contracts and/or experience provided by other contracting parties to the contract concerned in number and within the period specified in the bid data sheet for the similar size/type contract with a budget of at least that of this contract.

16. Gojjam Development S.C, reserves the right to reject any or all bids without giving reasons therefore and to waive informalities and irregularities, which do not constitute a material modification in the bids received.
