Invitation to Bid for External Audit

Friendship Support Association (FSA) is a local organization working in the Afar Regional State. FSA is pleased to invite qualified & registered audit firms to submit their bids for the audit of its accounts for three fiscal years from 2026 to 2028 G.C. in accordance with the requirement of the Authority for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO). Thus, qualified audit firms that fulfill the following criteria are invited to participate.

Requirements:

• Certificate of Professional Competence issued by the Office of the Auditor General and/ or Accounting and Audit Board of Ethiopia;
• Renewed Trade License, TIN and VAT certificates, and other legal documents certifying qualifications for performing similar tasks.
• The audit firm should provide evidence that its personnel have adequate experience in nonprofit organizations auditing standards and internationally recognized certifications (such as ACCA or CPA) alongside their active AABE professional registrations.
• Experience of the audit firm with audit reporting under International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), International Financial Reporting standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Must have solid experience auditing non-governmental organizations.

• Evidence of working relationship and quality assurance with accredited international audit firm will be a plus.
• The Audit firm should provide a complete company profile.
• In its proposal, the firm should provide:
• the annual audit service fee.
• the duration of the annual audit; date of submission of the final audit report.

Application Procedure:

• Interested audit firms that fulfill the above criteria can visit the FSA office during working hours (9:00 am - 3:00 pm) from Monday to Friday to assess the volume of work.
• Bidders can submit their technical and financial proposal in separate sealed envelopes to FSA Procurement Unit on or before June 11, 2026 at 2:00 pm. Bids will be opened on the same day June 11, 2026 at 2:30 pm in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
• FSA reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid at any time without assigning any reason or reasons whatsoever.
