The Ethiopian Red Cross Society Head Quarter Office invites eligible and qualified contractors of category of Electromechanical Contractors, water works contractors, and general contractors, or related contractors of category 5 and above with valid trade license, registration certificate, tax clearance valid up to date, supplier registration certificate (must be active online) and eligible for the Supply, Transport, Install, Test & Commissioning of PV-Solar Water Pumping Solutions in Oromia Region, Buno Bedelle Zone, Cawaka Woreda, Illu Harar town. Please refer the specific location in the below table.

1. Interested eligible bidders can purchase a complete set of bidding document by depositing a non-refundable payment amount ETB 500 (Five Hundred Birr) on CBE Account Number 1000000950487 in the name of Ethiopian Red Cross Society & collect the bidding document from ERCS Humanitarian Supply Chain Department Procurement Division, first floor, office No.25; which located around Stadium, Addis Ababa.

2. Bidders shall present copy of their renewed trade license for the year 2018 E.C., registration certificate, Tax Identification & VAT Registration Certificates and other necessary documents.

3. All tenders must be submitted to Ethiopian Red Cross Society along with a bid security (bid bond) in acceptable forms (CPO ONLY) specified in the bidding data sheet amounting 2% of the bid offer, on separate envelope. The bid security shall be valid for 28 consecutive days beyond the end of the validity period of the bid.

4. Financial Offer shall be produced in separate sealed envelopes labelled as ORIGINAL and COPY. Technical Offer shall be made in a separate third sealed envelope clearly labelled as ORIGINAL TECHNICAL OFFER and document should be stamped on every page. The four envelopes including the CPO shall then be stamped in and signed outer envelope, addressed to Ethiopian Red Cross Society whose address is mentioned below.

5. Bid will be closed on June 10,2026 at 2:00 pm and will be opened on the same date at 2:30pm in the presence of those bidders or their authorized representatives who are willing to attend the event at ERCS Conference Room, Addis Ababa.

6. If the 15th consecutive calendar day is a holiday, closing and opening will be the next working day.

7. Bidders are advised to read bidding document thoroughly in order to fill all the necessary details requested in the bidding document.

8. Failure to comply with the conditions from No.2 to 7 above may result in an automatic rejection.

9. The Ethiopian Red Cross Society reserves the right to reject any bid and to annul the bidding process at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders.
