Ethiopian Guenet Church Relief & Development (EGCRD) is a faith-based, non- profit and nongovernmental organization established in 1999 G.C., registered under the Authority for Civil Society Organizations with registration number 1417. EGCRD envisions a community that is healthy and holistically transformed across Ethiopia, and works toward ensuring the holistic needs of the poor, orphans, and marginalized communities through integrated development, humanitarian, and peace-building activities. In this regard, EGCRD has launched a humanitarian response program titled "Integrated Relief and Recovery Support for Tigray" (Project Code: INT-0000073127), aimed at preserving the lives and livelihoods of drought-affected communities in Aby- Adi and Adigrat Towns of the Tigray Regional State through the procurement of food commodities.

Bid Reference and Key Dates

Scope of Procurement

EGCRD invites eligible and competent suppliers to submit bids for the supply of the following food commodities:

• 154,200 kg - Cereals: Maize (0) / Millet (74) / Wheat (ስንዴ)
• 15,420 kg - Pulses: Chickpea / (1) Faba Bean (ATC)/ Haricot Bean (ቦሎቄ)
• 5,140 liters - Fortified Edible Oil
• 16,191 kg - Famix (Corn-Soya Blend / Fortified Blended Food)

Eligibility Requirements

All of the following documents are mandatory and must be submitted as part of the bid package. Bids lacking any of these documents will be disqualified.

• Valid Business License for the current Ethiopian fiscal year
• Valid and renewed Ethiopian Trade License
• Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)
• Registration Certificate
• Value Added Tax (VAT) Registration Certificate
• Company Registration Certificate issued by the relevant authority
• Tax Clearance Certificate (current fiscal year)

• Proof of registration on the Federal Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency (FPPA) Supplier List
• Audited Financial Reports for the most recent two consecutive fiscal years
• Reference/Recommendation Letter(s) evidencing satisfactory past performance in the supply of similar food commodities

Bid Security

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of ETB 300,000.00 (Three Hundred Thousand Ethiopian Birr). The bid security shall be in the form of a Certified Payment Order (CPO) or an unconditional Bank Guarantee issued in favor of Ethiopian Guenet Church Relief & Development. Insurance bonds, personal guarantees, or any other form of security will not be accepted.

Bid Document Availability and Bid Opening

Bidders may obtain the complete bid document with full technical specifications upon payment of the non-refundable fee of ETB 2,000.00 to EGCRD's Cooperative Bank account (No. 1000055149187) and presenting the bank deposit slip at the EGCRD Main Office, Addis Ababa (Kera/Bulgaria Mazoria, in front of Aynalem Beze Building), during regular office hours, effective from the date of this publication.

Sealed bids must be submitted to the EGCRD Main Office no later than June 13, 2026 at 10:30a.m. (local time). Bids will be publicly opened on June 15, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. (local time), in the presence of bidders or their duly authorized representatives at the same office. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances. EGCRD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, without incurring any obligation to inform the affected bidders of the grounds for such decision.
