Invitation to Open Bid

For procurements of Gs Pipes

Ethiopian Catholic Church Social and Development Commission Branch Office of Harar (ECC-SDCBOH) is an NGO, which is registered as Ethiopian Residents charity organization.  ECC-SDCBOH is operating and implementing its various social and development programs in Dire Dawa Administration, Oromiya Region East and West Harargie zones and Fantale and Boset weredas of East Shewa, Somali Region: with exception of Afder and Liben zones, Affar Region: Amibara & Awash wereda, Harari Region. For smooth running of project activities and their effective completion, ECC-SDCBOH has intended to procure the following different sizes Gs Pipes from successful vendors for West Hararghe Zone WASH EMERGENCY III project activities.  

Therefore, eligible bidders are invited to submit proposal with fulfilling of the following requirements:

1.  Bidders, who have Companies or organizations, whether for-profit or non-profit, must be legally able to conduct business in Ethiopia and have experience in supplying the above mentioned items

2. Bidders who can fulfill obligations related to payment of government taxes and have valid registration certificate, VAT & Tax Registration, and renewed legal business permit/license and for 2018 FY that allows the supplier to work in Ethiopia generally.

3. Bidders who are not in situations of conflict of interest (with primary relationship to family or business relationship to parties at ECC-SDCBOH).

4. Bidders who are not on any list of sanctioned parties issued by the United States of America Government (USG), the United Nations (UN), or the European Union (EU)

5. Bidders who can supply highest quality  Gs pipes,

6. Bidders can collect bid documents up on presentation of all above mentioned required legal certificates and non-returnable 500 (Five Hundred Birr) fee. All bidders documents should be collect and submit within seven days counted from announcement date and the bid will closed on the 10th day which count from announcement date at 3:30 AM local time and open on the same date at 4:00 AM local time at Dire Dawa ECC-SDCBOH office. If the opening day concedes with holiday bid will opens on next working day on the same time.

7. On this day, the bidder’s technical document will open and the financial document will be open for bidders who pass technical evaluation only. During bid opening, bidders or their legal representative should be attending and the bid will be opened whether bidders or their representatives will exist or not on stated date.

8. The bid shall furnish, as part of its tender, Submit CPO having amount 2% of total transaction cost in the name of ECC-SDCBOH in the form of bank guarantee or CPO only from banking institution, licensed to do business in Ethiopia and put in technical original document. The bidders should Summit one original technical & one original financial document and its copies of technical & financial documents sealed with wax and signed, after enclosed separately and kept in one post.
