Procurement of 60-Day-Old Tetra H Pullets

International Development Enterprises (IDE) invites sealed bids from legally registered poultry farms for the supply of 60-day-old Tetra H pullets to be distributed to smallholder farmers in the North and East Shewa zones of the Oromia Region.

Eligible poultry farms that meet the required criteria are invited to submit their legal documents and a quotation indicating the price per hen within 10 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice in Addis Zemen newspaper.

A) Bidder Requirements

Interested bidders shall submit the following:

• Valid business registration certificate.
• Trade license.
• Tax Identification Number (TIN) certificate.
• VAT registration certificate.
• Poultry farm establishment or operating license.
• Quotation showing the price per hen.
• Any other relevant legal documents proving eligibility and capacity to supply the required pullets.

B) Procurement Criteria for Purchasing 60-Day Tetra H Pullets

1. Age Verification

Pullets must be exactly 60 ± 3 days old.

Hatch date and flock records must be provided by the supplier.

2. Breed Authenticity

• Birds must be genuine Tetra H pullets obtained from an authorized breeder or distributor.
• Breed certification and source documentation must be available.

3. Body Weight

• Average body weight should conform to Tetra H breed standards for 60 days of age.
• Birds should not be underweight or overweight.
