Subject: Invitation for External Audit Services for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 Fiscal Years

Lattuu Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (SACCO) invites eligible, qualified, and certified external audit firms to submit their technical and financial proposals to perform a comprehensive statutory audit of its accounts and financial statements for the two consecutive fiscal years ending June 30, 2025, and June 30, 2026.

Requirements for Eligible Bidders:

Interested audit firms must meet the following mandatory criteria and submit copies of these documents with their technical proposal:

1. Valid and renewed relevant Trade License for the current Ethiopian fiscal year.
2. Certificate of Registration from the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE).
3. Evidence of experience in auditing financial institutions preferably Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies (SACCOS) or microfinance institutions.
4. Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and Value Added Tax (VAT) Registration Certificates.
5. A list of key professional staff (Auditor-in-Charge and team members) along with their professional qualifications and relevant experience.

Scope of Work:

The successful firm will be expected to examine the financial records, evaluate internal control systems, express an independent opinion on the financial statements, and issue a Management Letter for both the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 fiscal years in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant regulatory frameworks. Due to tight reporting timelines, the winning firm must be prepared to commence work immediately on July 2, 2026, and deliver the final completed audit documents for both years by July 15, 2026.

Application Procedure:

•  Interested and qualified audit firms can collect the detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) from the Lattuu SACCO Head Office during working hours.
• Bidders must submit their Technical and Financial proposals in two separate, sealed, and stamped envelopes clearly marked as "Technical Proposal" and "Financial Proposal" to the address below.
• Proposals must be delivered to the office during working hours, no later than June 26, 2026 (six days after this publication).
• Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend on June 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Lattuu SACCO Head Office.

Lattuu Savings and Credit Cooperative Society reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
