CALL FOR EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES
Corps Africa/Ethiopia Invites Proposals from Qualified External Audit Firms Corps Africa/Ethiopia invites qualified and licensed external audit firms to submit technical and financial proposals to conduct the external audit of the organization's financial statements for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026.
1. Scope of the Assignment
The selected audit firm will be responsible for conducting an independent audit of the financial statements of Corps Africa/Ethiopia for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026. The audit shall include an examination of accounting records, financial transactions, supporting documentation, and internal control systems related to financial reporting, in accordance with applicable auditing standards and relevant Ethiopian laws and regulations, including the requirements of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE), the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE), and the Agency for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO). The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS). The audit firm shall assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, express an independent opinion on the fairness of the financial statements through an auditor's report, and issue a management letter highlighting any identified weaknesses, observations, and recommendations for improvement. The audit must also ensure compliance with donor requirements, where applicable, and all other relevant statutory and regulatory obligations.
2. Eligibility Requirements
Interested audit firms must be legally registered and licensed to provide external audit services in Ethiopia, Hold a valid practicing certificate issued by the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE), Possess demonstrated experience in conducting audits for non-governmental organizations (NGOs), international organizations, or similar entities, Have a qualified audit team with relevant professional certifications and experience, be independent and free from any conflict of interest in relation to Corps Africa/Ethiopia.
