NOTICE FOR PROVISION OF EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICE

NRC is INGO working in Ethiopia since 2011 with varieties of core competencies (such as wash, shelter, Education, ICLA, food security & other emergency Lifesaving activities) across different areas of Ethiopia and worked a remarkable work to refuges, IDP's and host communities. Currently NRC is operating in about six areas of Ethiopia such as: Assosa, Shire, Afar, Jigjiga, Dollo, Maitsebri and Amahara.

The Norwegian Refugee Council Office in Addis Ababa hereby invites qualified and competent bidders to submit their quotations for provision of External Audit Service (An AABE-licensed Public Auditor) to carry out Annual Audit of Accounts for the year 2026.

To Ensure that the Auditors meet the reporting deadline of 10, February, 2027, the auditors are required to do an interim audit from October 12 to 31, 2026 and final audit from January 14, 2027 to February 10, 2027 including audit planning to report submission.

The audit firm shall hold a valid audit license issued by the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) and have demonstrated experience in auditing donor-funded projects.

Eligible Audit firms interested in providing the Audit services shall submit letter of Interest along with the copies of the following documents

• Valid Audit License and registration from Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) as per Directive No. 1096/2025 (which replaced Directive No. 805/2021).
• Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and satisfactory statements of all taxes
• Company profile (Structure, size and capability of the firm.)
• Major clientele of the firm.
• Lists of clients (preferably INGO's). provide references if available;
• Resumes for proposed professional audit staff outlining their qualifications and experiences;
• Brief description of audit approach and methodology.
• Proposed audit fee should include site visit related costs of travel, per-diem, accommodation and any incidentals;

NRC will provide the following documentation:

• NRC standard Audit agreement.
• Interoffice engagement Instruction BDO Norway the Global auditor of NRC.
• Details of Amount of grants and size of operation
• Bid information pack.
