RFP TO RECRUIT A CONSULTANT FOR SOCIAL PROTECTION (SCHOOL MILK) PILOT PROJECT DOCUMENTATION

Introduction 

The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is a Swiss-based foundation launched at the United Nations in 2002 to tackle the human suffering caused by malnutrition. Working with governments, businesses, and civil society, we aim to transform food systems so that they deliver more nutritious foods for all people, especially the most vulnerable.

General objective

To recruit a qualified project documentation consultant to comprehensively document the design, implementation, achievements, lessons learned and outcomes of the human-centered design (HCD)-based school milk pilot project. 

Specific Objectives

• Document the complete project journey, from the HCD process and prototype development through pilot implementation, monitoring, review and project closure. 
• Capture the perspectives and contributions of key stakeholders, including government institutions, development partners, school management, teachers, parents, and community members. 
• Document key project achievements, innovations, challenges, lessons learned and best practices
• Produce high-quality written and visual documentation, including photographs and other communication materials, suitable for knowledge sharing and donor reporting. 
• Highlight how the Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach informed the identification, validation, and implementation of the school dairy model within Ethiopia's school feeding program. 
• Generate evidence-based documentation that can be used for advocacy, policy dialogue, learning, replication and scale-up of school milk interventions in Ethiopia. 
• Prepare a comprehensive final project documentation report

Validity of Proposal

• Proposals shall remain valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the submission deadline.
