ZOA from relief to recovery is an international NGO registered with the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Charities and Societies Agency as Foreign Charity under registration certificate number 0739 to work in the fields of emergency relief and recovery operations to support the lives of refugees, returnees, internally displaced and victims of conflicts and natural disasters.

ZOA hereby invites qualified and duly registered audit firms to submit technical and financial proposals for the provision of external audit services for the Integrated Basic Services and Livelihoods for Refugees and Host Communities in Gambella Regional State Project. The project is funded by the European Union (EU) and was implemented over a period of three and a half years, ending on 30 June 2026, with a total budget of EUR 5,000,000.00.

The external audit shall be conducted in accordance with the applicable donor requirements. Interested firms must be duly authorized and licensed by the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) and comply with all applicable donor requirements. Firms should demonstrate substantial experience in providing external audit services to International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOS), particularly for projects funded by international donors such as the European Union. Interested and qualified audit firms are invited to submit the following documents:

1. Copy of Renewed & Relevant business license
2. Copy of VAT Registration Certificate
3. Copy of TIN Certificate
4. Relevant document which can show past performance and experience.
5. Experience and Summery of auditing different donor-based projects
6. Description of Audit Approach,
7. Estimated time to accomplish the audit work
8. Audit Fee.

• The volume of the Audit work can be assessed by visiting our office (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Monday- Thursday or 8:00AM- 2:00PM on Fridays.

  Monday to Thursday: 8:30AM-5:00PM
  Friday: 8:30AM-12:30PM
• Bid will be closed on August 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM. (afternoon) and will be opened on the same date at 2:30 PM (afternoon) at ZOA country office, Addis Ababa.
