Right To Play Ethiopia invites eligible printing companies to submit sealed bids for the printing, binding, and supply of storybooks for Grades 1-4 in Afan Oromo and Amharic, as well as English supplementary material guides.

TENDER NOTICE

Right To Play Ethiopia is implementing the Enhancing Quality and Inclusive Education (EQIE) 2.0 project in 44 schools with financial support from the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad). The project aims to improve the reading skills of children in Grades 1-4, including children with disabilities, in schools located in Bishoftu Town and Lume District.

As part of this initiative, Right To Play Ethiopia plans to print and distribute 64,596 copies of Grades 1-4 storybooks in Afan Oromo, 4,000 copies of Grades 1-4 storybooks in Amharic, and 1,400 copies of English supplementary material guides for all grades.

Accordingly, Right To Play Ethiopia invites eligible and qualified printing companies to submit sealed bids for the printing, binding, and supply of the storybooks and English supplementary materials prepared in Afan Oromo and Amharic. To encourage broader participation and allow bidders to compete according to their production capacity and efficiency, the procurement has been organized into four separate lots.

Bid Documents and Clarifications:

Interested bidders are required to send their request for the tender pack and clarification needed through the following email address:

[email protected]. Bidders should submit the following documents through the email to request the tender pack:

• Printing License and above valid for 2018 E.C.
• Renewed Printing and trade license for the year 2018 E.C
• VAT Registration Certificate and Tin Number.
• TAX clearance to demonstrate eligibility to participate in any bid in 2018 E.C

The Bid will be closed at 2:00 PM on August 13,2026 and will be opened at 2:30 PM on August 13,2026 in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives at Right To Play's Country Office, Addis Ababa.

Bid Submission: Only the hard copies of Sealed Bids received at the address given below before 13th August 2026 at 2:30 PM will be opened and considered for evaluation. Bidders or their authorized representatives are welcome for bid opening observation.
