1. Introduction
R&D Group invites eligible and competent vendors to submit sealed tenders for the supply, delivery, installation, and testing of Desktop Computers for its EDGE Program working spaces.
This tender is issued in line with the organization's tendering procedures applicable to primevalue purchases, and is open to all qualified suppliers able to meet the specifications and terms
set out below.
2. Scope of Supply
- Quantity: 45 units of Desktop Computers
- Delivery Location: Goro, IT park, Addis Ababa
- Scope includes delivery, installation and functional testing of all units at the delivery site
3. Technical Specification
Vendors must offer a desktop computer meeting or exceeding the specifications below. The requirement is brand-neutral; vendors may propose any make/model that meets these specifications and must state their offer against each line.

4. Payment Terms
- Prices shall be quoted in Ethiopian Birr (ETB) and must be inclusive of all applicable taxes, transportation, delivery, and any other related costs.
- Quoted prices shall remain valid for a minimum period of 30 days from the submission deadline.
- Prices must be quoted per item, and bidders shall clearly state their proposed payment terms in the pro forma quotation.
5. Submission Requirements
- Company trade license and business registration
- Financial proposal/ Proforma, itemized by unit price and total price, including specifications of items
- Delivery notes
6. Evaluation Criteria
Tenders will be evaluated on both technical compliance and financial offer. Technical evaluation will assess conformity to the specifications in Section 3, delivery timeline, and warranty terms.
Financial evaluation will assess price competitiveness. Award will be made to the vendor offering the best overall combination of technical compliance and price.
7. Submission guidelines
- Submit your pro forma quotation, together with all required supporting documentation, via email to [email protected] no later than August 21, 2026, at 5:30 PM. Quotations received after the submission deadline will not be considered.
- Clearly label the subject line of the email as "(RFQ Title – (Supplier Name) Quotation". Any requests for clarification regarding this procurement should also be submitted to the email address above.
