Invitation to Open Bid

For Supply and Installation services of 33KW & 27KW solar pumping System

Catholic Caritas Ethiopia - Harar (CCE - Harar) is an NGO, which is registered as Ethiopian Residents charity organization. CCE - Harar is operating and implementing its various social and development programs in Dire Dawa Administration, Oromiya Region East and West Harargie zones and Fantale and Boset weredas of East Shewa, Somali Region: with exception of Afder and Liben zones, Affar Region: Amibara & Awash wereda, Harari Region. For smooth running of project activities and their effective completion, CCE - Harar has intended to procure Supply and Installation services of 33KW & 27KW solar pumping System in Oromia Regional State Bedeno Woreda Genemi Kebele. Therefore, eligible bidders are invited to submit proposal with fulfilling of the following requirements:

1. Bidders who have Companies or organizations, whether for-profit or non-profit, must be legally able to conduct business in Ethiopia and can supply the mentioned items in Ethiopia upon award of the contract

2. Bidders who can fulfill obligations related to payment of government taxes and have valid registration certificate, Tax Registration, and other legal business permit/license that allows the supplier to work in Ethiopia generally.

3. Bidders who are not in situations of conflict of interest (e.g., with primary relationship to family or business relationship to parties at CCE - Harar.

4. Bidders who are not on any list of sanctioned parties issued by the United States of America Government (USG), the United Nations (UN), or the European Union (EU)

5. The bidders can obtain the RFQ from Dire Dawa CCE - Harar office up on non-refundable fee 500 (Five Hundred Birr only).

6. Bidders can collect RFQ documents up on presentation of all above mentioned required legal certificates. All bidders documents should be collect and submit within ten days counted from announcement date and the bid will closed on the 10 th day which count from announcement date at 3:30 AM local time and open on the same date at 4:00 AM local time at Dire Dawa CCE - Harar office. On this day, the bidder’s technical document will open and the financial document will be open for bidders who pass technical evaluation only. During bid opening, bidders or their legal representative should be attending and the bid will be opened whether tenderers/representatives will present or not on stated date.

7. The bid shall furnish, as part of its tender, Submit CPO having 2% of total selling cost in the name of CCE - Harar in the form of bank guarantee or CPO only from banking institution, licensed to do business in Ethiopia and it must be put in technical original document.

8. The bidders should submit one original technical & one original financial document and their copies of technical & financial documents sealed with wax and signed, after enclosed separately and kept in one post.

9. The office reserves the right to accept or reject any or all RFQ and not obliged to give reason for any decision taken. Potential bidders can find the CCE - Harar official address mentioned here
