MOENCO invites sealed bids from interested and qualified suppliers for the supply and delivery of barcode reader laptops and laptop chargers in accordance with the technical specifications and bidding conditions set out below.

Bidding Instructions and Conditions
1. Submission deadline and bid opening: Bids must be delivered to the address specified below no later than 21 September 2026 at 10:00 AM. Bids will be opened at the same address on 21 September 2026 at 10:30 AM, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend.
2. Bid security: Each bid must be accompanied by bid security equivalent to 5% of the total bid value, in terms of Cash Payment Order (CPO), or an unconditional bank guarantee issued by a recognized bank.
3. Submission and enquiry address: MOENCO Procurement Division, Bole Road, Infront of Hayat Hospital, For further information, call +251 8090 Ext. 215 or +251 8090 Ext. 212.
4. Performance security: The successful bidder shall provide performance security equivalent to 10% of the contract value, once win the bid denominated in Ethiopian birr (ETB), CPO, or unconditional bank guarantee.
5. Delivery period: The goods must be delivered within 45 Calendar days from the date of contract signature.
6. Bidding document: No separate bidding document will be issued. The technical specifications and conditions contained in this invitation constitute the complete bidding requirements.
7. Quantity variation: MOENCO reserves the right to increase or decrease the stated quantities depending on the evaluated price and its operational requirements.
8. Currency: All prices must be quoted in Ethiopian birr (ETB). MOENCO will not provide foreign currency.
9. Eligible suppliers can compute for both lots or for single lot.
10. Reservation of rights: MOENCO reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, in whole or in part, without assigning a reason.
