BFI hereby invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of 3 Motorbikes with technical specifications listed below:

Instructions to Bidders and Legal Requirements

1. Mandatory Documentation: Bidders shall submit copies of their valid and renewed legal documents:

Any other relevant supporting documents required under the bidding documents.

2. Bid Security (Bid Bond): All bids must be submitted together with a bid security in the form of a Bank Guarantee or CPO only, amounting to 2% of the total bid price. The bid security shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope and shall remain valid for at least 12 consecutive days beyond the bid validity period.

3. Submission of Bids:

• Financial Offer: The Financial Offer shall be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes, clearly marked "Original Financial Offer" and "Copy of Financial Offer".
• Technical Offer: The Technical Offer shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope, clearly marked "Original Technical Offer".
• Bid Security (CPO): The bid security shall be submitted in a fourth separate sealed envelope, clearly marked "Bid Security / CPO",
• All four envelopes shall be placed inside one outer sealed envelope, clearly addressed to Bright Future Initiative at the address indicated below.
• The bidders should submit their bid documents within 5 working days in person at the BFI head office starting from the date of announcement on this newspaper.

4. Closing and Opening Dates: Bids shall be closed on September 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM and opened on the same day at 2:30 PM, in the presence of bidders or their duly authorized representatives who wish to attend, at the BFI Head Office, Addis Ababa.

5. Compliance: Bidders are strongly advised to carefully read the bidding documents and technical specifications to ensure that all required information, forms, schedules, and supporting documents are properly completed and submitted in accordance with the stated requirements. Failure to comply with any of the requirements specified above may result in automatic rejection of the bid.

6. Rights Reserved: Bright Future Initiative reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to cancel the bidding process at any time prior to contract award, without incurring any liability to bidders.
