1. Background

The Ethiopian Securities Exchange S.C. (ESX) requires the renewal of its Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server, Standard License. This Terms of Reference document defines the procurement requirement and the minimum requirements for eligibility of bidders to submit their offers.

2. Objective

The objective of this procurement is to renew the required Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server, Standard License to support the continued use of the licensed software environment of the Ethiopian Securities Exchange S.C.

3. Scope of Supply

The successful bidder shall supply the requested Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server, Standard License renewal in accordance with the requirements of Ethiopian Securities Exchange S.C.

4. Bidder Eligibility and Required Documents

Interested and eligible bidders shall submit valid and renewed copies of the following documents:

• Trade license.
• Certificate of registration.
• Taxpayer Registration Certificate.
• Value-Added Tax (VAT) certificate.
• CPO equivalent to 10% of the total tender price submitted by the bidder.

5. Responsibilities of the Successful Bidder

• Supply the requested Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server, Standard License renewal.
• Provide the required supporting documentation associated with the license renewal.
• Complete the supply within the specified ten (10) days from the date of contract signing.

6. Submission Requirements

All required documents must be submitted no later than 5:00 PM on Monday, October 26, 2026. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered

• Currency: Bidders shall submit their financial offers in Ethiopian Birr (ETB).
• Supporting Documents: All relevant supporting documents must be included with the financial offer.

ESX reserves the right to accept or reject the bid either partially or fully without giving reasons thereof.
