Invitation to Bid for the Supply of Stationery Materials Bid Invitation No. B-ETH/003/2026

Brooke Ethiopia is a registered International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, registered under the Authority for Civil Society Organizations with Registration No. 0883. Since 2006, Brooke Ethiopia has been working to improve the welfare of working animals throughout Ethiopia.

Brooke Ethiopia invites qualified and eligible suppliers to participate in a competitive bid for the supply of various stationery materials required for project implementation.

Bid Requirements

1. Bidders must submit a valid and renewed trade license and a VAT registration certificate.

2. Bidders shall submit:

• One (1) original and one (1) copy of the Technical Proposal;
• One (1) original and one (1) copy of the Financial Proposal; 
•  Bid Security (CPO) in a separate envelope.

Each document shall be sealed in separate envelopes clearly marked as "Original" or "Copy," as appropriate. All envelopes shall then be enclosed in one sealed outer (mother) envelope. A minimum of five separately sealed envelopes is required.

3. Interested bidders may obtain a complete set of bidding documents from the Brooke Ethiopia Office located at Bole Sub-City, Woreda 03, House No. 797, Addis Ababa, upon payment of a non- refundable fee of ETB 500.00 (Five Hundred Birr) per bidding document.

4. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Cash Payment Order (CPO) only, amounting to 2% of the total bid price. The original CPO shall be enclosed separately within the mother envelope.

5. Bids must be submitted within ten (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this invitation in the Addis Zemen Newspaper. Bids shall be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose at the Brooke Ethiopia Office, Addis Ababa, no later than 1:30 PM (7:30 Ethiopian Time) on the closing date. If the closing date falls on a public holiday, Saturday, or Sunday, the deadline shall automatically be extended to the next working day at the same time.

6. Late submissions will not be accepted.

7. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend, at 2:00 PM (8:00 Ethiopian Time) on the bid closing date at the Brooke Ethiopia Office, Addis Ababa. In the absence of bidders or their representatives for any reason, Brooke Ethiopia reserves the right to proceed with the bid opening.

8. Brooke Ethiopia reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantities of the items based on budget availability and operational requirements.

9. Brooke Ethiopia reserves the right to extend the bid submission deadline and/or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, without assigning any reason.
