DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS

Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia PLC invites qualified, experienced, and competent service providers to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the provision of the following Services required for its facilities in Addis Ababa

Interested bidders may apply for one or more of the following services lots to be shortlisted for RFP. However, a separate technical and commercial proposal must be submitted for each lot during RFP stage.

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS

Lot 1-24/7 General Building Maintenance Services Provision of comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance services for Safaricom Ethiopia facilities, including but not limited to: High- and low-voltage electrical systems

• Mechanical systems
• Elevators
• Generators
• Fire detection and fire protection systems
• CCTV and Access Control systems
• Building Management System (BMS)
• HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems
• Plumbing, sanitary systems, and septic tank cleaning services
• Civil and general building maintenance
• Carpentry works
• Painting works
• Lighting systems
• Emergency maintenance services
• Provision of a dedicated 24/7 on-site maintenance team equipped with its own tools, equipment, and materials, with on-call support for routine and emergency maintenance activities Preventive maintenance planning, scheduling, reporting, and asset maintenance records

Lot 2 - Relocation end to end logistics service (full-service movers)

Provision of Relocation/Full moving service including but not limited to:

• One time Office relocation and furniture, equipment, and office assets movement
• Professional packing and packaging to ensure safe transportation.
• Loading, transportation, unloading, and delivery of all office assets.
• Dismantling, assembly, and reinstallation of office furniture and equipment.
• Repair and rectification of furniture or office items damaged during the relocation process.
• Arrangement and positioning of office assets
• Removal and proper disposal of packing materials upon completion of the relocation.

Lot 3 - Waste Management Services

Provision of environmentally compliant waste management services including:

• Waste segregation and recycling
• Collection and disposal of non-hazardous waste
• Scheduled waste collection services
• Provision of waste collection bins and related equipment (where applicable)
• Compliance with Ethiopian environmental regulations
• Submission of regular waste management and compliance reportsCopy Print

Lot 4-Pest Control Services

• Provision of integrated pest control services including:
• Preventive and corrective pest control
• Rodent control
• Cockroach control
• Flying insects and mosquito control
• Routine inspections
• Emergency pest control services
• Safe application of approved chemicals and submission of compliance certificates

EOI REQUIREMENTS

Interested bidders shall submit the following documents for each lot they are applying for:

• Valid Business License is relevant to the service category.
• Certificate of Business Registration.
• Valid TIN Certificate.
• VAT Registration Certificate (where applicable).
• Company Profile.
• Organization Structure.
• Company experience demonstrating similar assignments.
• List of at least three (3) similar projects completed within the last five (5) years.
• List of major clients with contact references.
• List of available equipment, tools, and resources.
• List of qualified technical personnel.
• Relevant certifications and accreditations (where applicable).
• Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy.
• Quality Management procedures.
• Any other relevant supporting documents.

Bidders may submit proposals for one or more lots. However, a separate email and a separate technical proposal shall be submitted for each lot.

Only technical proposals are required at this EOI stage. Commercial and financial proposals shall not be submitted. Shortlisted bidders will be invited to participate in the subsequent procurement stage, where commercial proposals will be requested.
