ABOUT KOMARI BEVERAGE
Komari Beverages PLC was founded in 2017 and is strategically located approximately 96 kilometers from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The company commenced production in April 2021 and has since established itself as a significant player in the Ethiopian beverage industry. It offers its flagship ready-to-drink beverage, Arada, in three distinct flavors. Our commitment to quality and innovation has rapidly grown our customer base and enhanced the drinking experience.
OBJECTIVE
To engage a qualified and licensed waste management service provider to ensure the efficient collection, transportation, and environmentally responsible disposal of solid and liquid waste, maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant working environment while supporting uninterrupted production operations..
CONTEXT
We invite expressions of interest by companies/ businesses/ organizations for the provisions of goods and services in the following categories. Komari Beverages PLC invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified companies, businesses, and organizations for the provision of Solid and Liquid Waste Collection, Transportation, and Disposal Services at its Cheki, Debre Berhan manufacturing plant. The selected service provider will be responsible for the safe, timely, and environmentally compliant collection, transportation, and disposal of solid and liquid waste generated from the company 's operations in accordance with applicable Ethiopian environmental regulations and industry best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
The Applicant shall prepare the EOI and include all requirements mentioned below:
- Full Registered name of the Organization and Company
- Environmental permits or licenses issued by the relevant regulatory authority.
- Evidence of ownership or access to suitable waste collection vehicles and equipment.
- Company profile demonstrating relevant experience in industrial solid and liquid waste management.
- List of similar contracts successfully completed within the last five (5) years, including client references.
- Qualified personnel with appropriate health, safety, and environmental training.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policy and procedures.
- Proof of access to approved waste treatment and disposal facilities.
- Full registered name of the organization/company.
- Valid Trade License for Waste Collection, Transportation, and Disposal Services for the year 2018 E.C.
- Valid Tax Identification Number (TIN).
- VAT Registration Certificate.
Firms/individual consultants:
The applicants shall provide a brief description of their firm(s)/ individual profiles with legal mandates/authorized business activities, year and country of incorporation, core area of specialization, expertise and types of activities undertaken structure, and organization diagram.
