Qualification Requirements

• Valid business license Having been submitted valid trade license or business organization registration certificate issued by the country of establishment in accordance with ITB Clause 4.6(b)(i) Reference: 4.6(b)(i)
• Nationality Nationality in accordance with ITB Clause 4.2.  Reference: ITB Clause 4.2
• Debarred by a decision of the Public Procurement and Property Authority Bidder has been debarred by a decision of the Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency from participating in public procurements for breach of its obligation under previous contracts, in accordance with ITB Clause 4.4.   Reference: 4.4
• Warranty Certificate: A bidder has to submit  a minimum one (1) year warranty covering the supplied spare parts against manufacturing defects.  Reference: 37.4 (e)
• Conflict of Interest No conflict of interest as described in ITB Clause 6.  Reference: 4.3
• VAT registration certificate for Domestic Bidders Having been submitted VAT registration certificate issued by the tax authority (in case of contract value of Birr 100,000.00 and above) in accordance with ITB Clause 4. 6(b)(ii) Reference: 4.6(b)(ii)
• Valid tax clearance certificate for Domestic Bidders Having been submitted valid tax clearance certificate issued by the tax authority (Domestic Bidders Only) in accordance with ITB Clause 4.6(b)(iii) Reference: 4.6(b)(iii)
• Manufacturer Authorization Letter The bidder shall be a valid authorization letter from the original manufacturer or an authorized representative confirming the bidder’s authorization to supply the offered spare parts. Reference: 5.6 & 37.4 (d) (iii)
• Manufacturer’s Datasheet, Catalogue, or Brochure Manufacturer’s Datasheet, Catalogue, or Brochure Bidder has to complete the relevant manufacturer-issued technical documentation confirming the specifications, part numbers, model compatibility, and technical details of the offered spare parts.  Reference: 37.4 (d) (ii)
• Genuine and New Spare Part Genuine and New Spare Part The bidder submit All offered spare parts shall be brand-new, unused, genuine/OEM or OEM-approved, and suitable for the specified equipment.  Reference: 17 & 37.4 (d)(i)
• Bid Security 500,000 ብር የጨረታ ማስከበሪያ ዋስትና የጨረታው መለያ ቁጥር እና የፕሮጀክቱ ወይም የጨረታው ስም ተጠቅሶ በአዲስ አበባ ከተማ መንገዶች ስም ተሰርቶ እና እስካን ተደርጎ ኮፒ በሲስተሙ ላይ መያያዝ አለበት፡፡ ኦርጂናል ዋስትናው ጨረታው ከመዘጋቱ በፊት ቢሮ ቁጥር 23 በአካል መቅረብ አለበት፡፡  Reference: 4.8

• Certificates of satisfactory execution of contracts The bidder provide at least two (2) satisfactory performance certificates/letters issued by previous clients within the Recent last two (2) years, confirming the successful supply and satisfactory performance of similar spare parts. Each certificate/letter shall clearly indicate the execution/completion date, contract/order amount, description of the supplied spare parts, and confirmation of satisfactory performance.Must  Reference: 37.4 (c).
