Lemi National Cement Plc invites eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of 20,000 Metric Tons of Standard Sand.

Invitation for National Competitive Bidding (NCB)

Lemi National Cement Plc, a leading cement manufacture private company, invites all interested, eligible, and qualified bidders to participate in the supply of:

• Grain size distribution: Must fall within the specified grading limits.
• Silica content (SiO2): High-purity silica sand is generally required.
• Moisture content: Must comply with the applicable standard and testing procedure.
• Clay, silt, and organic impurities: Must be controlled within the permitted limits.
• Chemical stability: Must not contain harmful substances that interfere with cement strength testing.
• Packaging and Storage: Packaging and storage conditions must prevent contamination, Moisture changes, and material dispersion.

The bid must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 200,000 (Two hundred thousand birr) in the form of bank guarantee, and CPO. The Bid security shall remain valid for at least 28 days beyond the bid validity period.

Technical and financial bids must be submitted in one sealed envelope enclosed clearly marked with the tender reference and addressed to Lemi National Cement PLC.

The bid bond will be sealed in a separate envelope and marked bid bond.

The closing date in Nov, 3,2026 at 10:00 AM and the bid will be opened at the same date at 10:30 AM in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives at Lemi National Cement PLC office 1st floor No.104.

Lemi National Cement PLC reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
