Imagine1day is a non-profit international organization that was established in 2007 by Wilson’s family (Chip and Summer). Through the facilitation and provision of better access to EDUCATION, Imagine1day is transforming generations to come. Education, Protection, transformational leadership, WASH, and emergency assistance are pillars of imagine1day’s operations in Ethiopia. It has been implementing its projects in OROMIA, TIGRAY, South Ethiopia, Southwest Ethiopia, Central Ethiopia, Sidama, Amhara, Benishangul Gumuz, Afar, Somali and Gambella Regions. It has established 1,194+ partner schools with
partners and 217 schools built from the ground up. Over 319,000+ Previously Out-of-School Children (OOSC) are enrolled, over 1,000,000+ children reached with education in emergency and protection services, and 863,000+ people are impacted through its Education and Transformational Leadership.

Imagine1day is inviting competent and Eligible audit firms to submit proposals to perform an external audit of its annual financial statements for the year ending December 3,2026. The contract may be extended to the coming two years (2027 & 2028) based on satisfactory performance. The number of box files to be audited is 500.

The BID proposal should contain, but not be limited to the following considerations:

• Eligibility- Certificate by authorized body to conduct audits -Grade A
• The audit firm must have solid experience in INGO auditing in Ethiopia
• Certificate of professional competence issued by (AABE)
• Detailed audit plan
• Financial offer to audit 500 file boxes of documents and technical proposal documents to undertake the assignment
• Renewed Trade/Operating business license.
• VAT clearance certificate
• TIN, VAT, trade license, and other legal documents certifying qualifications for performing similar assignments,

Application procedures

Interested bidders are invited to submit a narrative proposal and a budget proposal as two separate documents to both [email protected]  and [email protected] 

The narrative proposal will consist of no more than 10 pages. CV and other supportive documents may be attached in a separate Annex.

Note:- Please note that only selected consulting firms will be contacted immediately after the evaluation of submitted technical and financial proposals.
