Our office, Ministry of National Defense Logistics Main Department of the Procurement Unit has issued an EGP Open Tender for the procurement of various heavy vehicle spare parts፡፡ Accordingly ,bidders partcipating in the EGP Open Tender for the procurement of various heavy vehicle spare parts are required to fulfill the following requirements for the spare parts they are bidding for:- 1. Delivery of Awarded Items፡- Any successful bidder shall deliver the awarded items using its own transportation to the Kalitiy Warehouse. 2. Bid Security (CPO)፡- Bidders must scan the Bid Security Guarantee (CPO) and attach it to their tender documents in the EGP system. 3. Certificate of Authentication፡- Participating bidders must be able to provide a Certificate of Authentication from the manufacturer or proof that they are the legally authorized representative in Ethiopia, confirming that the vehicle spare parts they are bidding for are original. 4. Late Delivery Penalty፡- If a successful bidder fails to deliver the goods within the specified period and delivers them after the contractual delivery period, a penalty of 0.001 per day shall be calculated and imposed for each day of delay. 5. False Bid Security፡- Any bidder who submits a fraudulent or invalid bid security shall, in addition to being disqualified from the tender competition, be held legally liable for fraud in accordance with the law. 6. Key Code Sharing፡- Any bidder who fails to share the key code on time when the tender is opened shall be responsible for any problems that may arise thereafter. The procuring entity shall not assume responsibility for such problems. 7. Right to Cancel the Tender፡- The procuring entity has the right to cancel the tender in whole or in part.
