Qualification Requirements

  • Submission of Certificates of satisfactory execution of contracts Bidder has to submit Certificates of satisfactory execution of contracts provided by contracting parties to the contracts successfully completed in the period and budget as specified in the BDS Clause 16.3 Reference: ITB 35.4
  • Bidder Nationality Nationality in accordance with ITB Sub-Clause 4.2 Reference: ITB 35.2
  • Average annual turnover Annual turnover for the period specified in Section 3, Evaluation Methodology and Criteria :Average 100,000,000.00 ETB​ Reference: ITB 35.5
  • Submission of Delivery and Completion Schedule Bidder has to submit Delivery and Completion Schedule presented as per template in Section 6, Statement of Requirements Reference: ITB 35.4
  • Major relevant contracts successfully completed Bidder has to provide in the Bidder Certification of Compliance Form information about major relevant contracts successfully completed in the number and period specified in the BDS Reference: ITB 35.4
  • External Audit Reports Certified reports  Reference: ITB 35.5
    • Bidders must submit External Audit Reports Certified reports for the last three (3) consecutive years. These must be prepared by independent, certified auditors; reports prepared by accounting firms or accountants without certification for Ethiopian bidders are strictly prohibited.
  • Submission of Manufacturer Authorization Letter  Reference: ITB 35.4
    • Bidder has to submit Manufacturer Authorization Letter in accordance with ITB Clause 5.6
    • Bidder shall submit original manufacturer's authorization letter as per the form on the bid document/ bidding forms/ to confirm that, they are authorized to provide the product supplied by the manufacturer, including any warranty obligations and after sales support as may be required.
  • Technical Specification + Technical Offer+ Compliance Sheet Bidder has to complete its Technical Specification + Technical Offer+ Compliance Sheet Form in accordance with technical specification presented as per template in Section 6, Statement of Requirements and submit the following mandatory attachments Reference: ITB 35.4
  • origin of the Goods and Related Services  Reference: ITB 35.4
    • Bidder has to provide in the Bid Submission Sheet Form the Statement attesting the origin of the Goods and Related Services offered
  • Documents proofing bidder financial standing Bidder has to submit other documents proofing its financial standing, as required in the BDS Clause 15.2(b) Reference: ITB 35.5
  • Submission of Descriptive technical literature Bidder has to submit Descriptive technical literature in accordance with ITB Clause 17 Reference: ITB 35.4
  • conflict of interest No conflict of interest as described in ITB Clause 4.3 Reference: ITB 35.2
  • Form Data on Joint Ventures In the case of a bid submitted by a joint venture (JV), the Bidder has failed to submit the Form Data on Joint Ventures, the Agreement governing the formation of joint venture, or letter of intent to form JV, including a draft agreement, in accordance with ITB Clause 4.1 Reference: 34.3

  • Manufacturer Certification •  Manufacturer / shall have valid certification for quality and safety for the offered product from accredited international certification boards or authorities like ISO, CE, ASTM, DIN, JIS, TUV or other known equivalent internationally recognized authorities.•  Authentic certificate with accreditation body address and certificate number shall be attached. Reference: 34
